A lot of local searches never even reach a website. Someone searching "food near me" picks straight from the map that pops up. Those results come from your Google Business Profile, the free listing that puts you on Google Maps.
Getting that listing right, together with the words on your own site, is what turns you up for the searches that bring real customers. You do not need to understand any of it. That is my job.
